8.1 Microbiological Standards

Category Prepared Frozen Foods | Under the Food Sanitation Act [1] and Public Notice No. 370 [2], the microbial limits for “Frozen foods that are consumed after heating (heated before getting frozen))” are defined as follows:

Product Frozen Potatoes and Frozen Cheese Snack | Same as above except for the ingredient cheese of “Frozen Cheese Snacks”. There are some microbial standards for cheese. Please refer to Section 3.2 of this guidebook for the details. |
