8.1 Microbiological Standards

Under the Food Sanitation Act [1] and Public Notice No. 370 [2], the microbial limits for “Frozen foods that are consumed after heating (heated before getting frozen))” are defined as follows:


  • Viable bacterial count: NMT 100,000/g
  • Coliforms: Negative
