8.3 Pesticides

Annex 4 of the Food Code [1] provides a list of maximum residual limits (MRLs) of pesticides. When pesticides are detected in processed foods without established MRLs in Annex 4, residues may be permitted within the MRLs of the raw agricultural products. 

8.4 Veterinary Standards

Annex 5 of the Food Code [1] provides a list of residue limits for veterinary drugs in food. This is only applicable to livestock and fishery products.
