6.1 Product Notification

Product
Packaged donuts
Packaged Donuts belong to the category of products exempted from registration under Code - 4300151 Cereal products, starches, flours, and meals (Produtos de cereais, amidos, farinhas e farelos, in Portuguese). The notification procedure is the same as the one described in Section 6.1 of the "General Foods" guidebook for Brazil.
In the communication form application, in the section category, the code 4300151 must be included, and in the section for the category description “Cereal products, starches, flours and mix of flours” must be written.
Non-packaged donuts
In the specific case of non-packaged donuts, they do not require notification or registration, as they are still considered food preparations, which are only governed by the GMP implementation of the establishment where they are prepared and sold.
6.2 Product Registration
N/A (packaged and non-packaged donuts) are exempt from registration.
