1. Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee
Adopts consumer protection legislation and monitors compliance and enforcement of this legislation.

Exercises sanitary supervision in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
3. State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan
Exercises border control for food and non-food products.
4. State Standardization Committee
- Adopts standards and Special Technical Regulations for food and non-food products.
- Manages the accreditation of certification bodies and testing laboratories.
5. SUE Center for Accreditation
The SUE «Uzbek Centre for Accreditation» is a specially authorized body of the Republic of Uzbekistan for accreditation of conformity assessment bodies.
The activities of the SUE «Uzbek Centre for Accreditation» are aimed at confirming the competence of conformity assessment bodies in order to ensure confidence in the results of conformity assessment and to create conditions for the elimination of technical barriers to trade.
6. Department of Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health
- Supervises production, transportation, storage, and sale of food raw materials and consumer products.
- Enforces sanitary rules, norms, and hygiene regulations on the activities of public catering facilities.
- Monitors sanitary-epidemiological safety of domestically produced and imported food products and food raw materials.
- Supervises the development, storage, transportation, and sale of food products in order to prevent diseases related to food products.
- Conducts inspections of production, transportation, storage, and sale of food raw materials and consumer products.
7. State Sanitary Committee
The sanitary-epidemiological committee is an authorized state management body responsible for the implementation of the unified state policy in the field of sanitary-epidemiological stability of the population and public health.
The Committee (its regional bodies) issues the mandatory sanitary reports for food that is to be placed on the Uzbekistan market.
8. Accredited certification bodies and laboratories
Issue test reports and certificates of conformity or notify applicants in writing about the refusal to issue a certificate of conformity for food products.
