6.2 Product Registration

To sell food supplements, the owner of the brand must register as a Food Business Operator (FBO), with their local authority. It is the FBO's responsibility to ensure that food supplements sold are safe for consumption. All suppliers of raw materials must be registered businesses with their local authority/country. This will aid with traceability and the supply chain. 

Records must be kept of who the suppliers are and who the products were sold to as these may be requested by the local authorities/enforcement officers if challenged.
