(a) For health claims that are already permitted for use: please refer to Section 5.3.2 - Health Claims Registration - of the "General Foods" guidebook for the EU.
(b) For health claims that are not currently permitted for use: please refer to Section 5.3.2 - Health Claims Registration - of the "General Foods" guidebook for the EU. Additionally, in France, it is the authority DGCCRF (office 4A) that is responsible for examining the authorization application files submitted by operators before transmitting them to the EFSA [1].
