This section provides an overview of the Authorities involved in setting regulations and managing compliance with the product in scope.

1.1 Authorities

The Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a division of the Ministry of Public Health, is responsible for regulation of drugs (Medicines Division) and health supplements (Food Division). 

Note that the English version of the website has greatly reduced functionality compared to the Thai language version. 

Pre-marketing control of veterinary medicinal products is the responsibility of the Thai FDA (Medicines Division); however, some post-market activities are covered by the Department of Livestock Development of the Ministry of Agriculture.
