    This section provides an overview of the Authorities involved in setting regulations and in managing compliance with the animal feed product in scope.


    Department of the Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG)
    The authorization by Resolution and the Import Permit for animal feed must be requested at the Animal Feed Sub-Department of the Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG). SAG belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture. The primary regulation for the control and surveillance of animal feed is Decree N° 4/2016 [1] which approves the Animal Feed Regulation.
